2 weeks ago I was taking my Golden Retriever Duke out for his evening walk and before I got the door shut he was OFF and BARKING like a CRAZY dog. I couldn't see what the problem was because of the big palm in front of the door, but knew it must be bad. I hung on to the brick pillar and he tore me off of that and I grabbed a bush to hang on to to try to stop him from getting away from me. I finally saw the neighbor's new MASSIVE Cane Corso dog from 2 doors down, a dog my Duke has had problems with in the past. I finally got Duke under control, but I was shaking and crying and my arm was all ripped up. This was the second interaction of its kind with this dog, so I knew it was time to bring in help and call a trainer.Patrick came over to the house to work with us one-on-one in an environment we and our dog are comfortable in. He went over some really common sense things and taught us how to speak dog. Then came time to walk Duke outside. My neighbor brought his big dog out and I started shaking and crying just seeing them, traumatized from past experiences. The trainer walked Duke past the big dog, showing me how to read his body language and correct issues before they blew up to an uncontrollable level. Then he wanted me to do it. I was so darn scared, I had tears in my eyes, but I knew it was something I had to learn. When we started walking past the neighbor's dog, his dog started to pop off which broke Duke's concentration, but thankfully I was able to use the tools and techniques Patrick showed us and diffuse the situation and get Duke back in line and listening to me quickly. I would have no idea how to make this kind of change this quickly without Patrick's help. Thank you Patrick for your awesome help and guidance!
So far so good!!! Patrick came into our home to help mainly with our 8 month old pug and her potty training/crate training. We got her from a “family owned” pet store from which she developed terrible habits. We hired Patrick as a last ditch effort after most of our home as been soiled. We have a 2 1/2 year old Boston Terrier who was a puppy sent from above. Patrick offers an amazing program that allows both of our dogs to be trained for pretty much the same price. This is the way to go. After our first lesson we corrected the areas that could be the issue and have been given a bunch of homework. I truly believe training is the effort you and your family put into it as well. We are going to give this our all! Patrick was prompt, professional and offered so much knowledge. Wow, we are so impressed with how well Bark Busters and Patrick Logue's methods work! We have a 1 year old Toy Maltese Bella who is our love. Bella was barking at everything outside, even if there was a car horn or doorbell noise on the TV or a neighbor that she knows. She was jumping up on us and others and nipping at our feet. She was licking us excessively, and we were allowing this because we did not know how to speak "dog". Patrick showed us quickly and simply how to use our body language and dog speak to prevent all of these behaviors. Within 1 hour, these behaviors were immediately reduced and it has been less than 24 hours and our Bella is just a joy to be around now. I had the best experience today meeting Patrick from BarkBusters. In one two hour session, my dog is following all my commands. She no longer runs to the front door wildly barking when the door bell rings. She waits to be invited into the kitchen. She walks at my side and not dragging me. Best day ever!!! Thank you Patrick.
I was nervous but excited all at the same time. My puppy was always barking and jumping on people. She wouldn't listen sometimes. So I reached out for some help. When Patrick arrived she was barking from the other room. I tried to call out once to see if she would stop. That didn't happen. After Willow came out the meet Patrick after I completed a few mini training inside. We went outside to do a few things. By the time he left on the first day I could see a change. She is a smart girl. Now that I know how to communicate with her, time to put in the work ! Thanks
Patrick is truly incredible. Our dogs’ behavior improved after just one session. From being pulled down on the ground by both dogs on a walk, to having them walk right beside me not pulling at all after just one day with Patrick was mind blowing. He is knowledgable, fun to work with, and so good with our pups. After only a couple weeks, both dogs have made incredible improvements and they finally see me as the leader, rather than walking all over me like they used to! I completely recommend Patrick and Bark Busters, it truly has changed our lives!

I recently used Bark Buster’s trainer Patrick Logue here in Fort Myers. We have a Labrador named Max who is a sweet dog but has to say hello to everyone he meets and basically make himself a nuisance. I say that with all the love in the world! But, that behavior needed correction and Patrick provided the Bark buster training techniques in home and it works like a charm! It was honestly crazy to see the immediate change in Max’s behavior . Awesome first training session with Patrick at Bark Busters for my new, adult rescue pup who is a mixed breed, possibly shepherd, pit, and black mouth cur X. She has extreme separation anxiety. To the point of escaping basic enclosures, trying to break windows, tearing things up, and barking/ drooling constantly. She had to follow me around everywhere around the house when I was home, too. Today, we covered the basics and establishing who’s boss, and that she is to get attention on my terms. I was leery at first thinking she would be afraid of me, but she actually is MORE excited when I call her now and the time together feels more rewarding for both of us. And she already respects my space indoors within 3 hours. I can walk outside a bit, but I haven’t gotten to the major steps yet of leaving her alone at home / addressing behavior at work or on car trips. I really believe I will resolve these issues after meeting my bark busters trainer. She also appeared to be afraid of the crate at first but turns out it’s just anticipation of being alone and scared in it. Today, she actually went into her crate on her own to eat. She seems much more in tune with me and looks to me for direction now- which is the ultimate goal for everything. I’ve been given much valuable homework and will be getting as many visits as I need. But seems I may not need as many as originally thought, and she will be a well trained dog in no time! No need for treats, physical touch, a bunch of different words, or coercion. Just simple dog language. Bark busters truly teaches this concept in an easy to understand manner and results are worth it! I’m so excited to start this new way of life with my new dog. This will be my first professionally trained dog, and I couldn’t feel more confident and proud to own a dog!
A fabulous first session with Patrick of Bark Busters. I have new dogs in training…as if by magic my doggos listened and responded. It really isn’t magic, it is hard work, consistency and layers. Patrick had me jump in to the deep part of the training pool immediately and begin our training. Wow! I LOVE the process!!!! Flynn, my Wheaten Terrier, barked, jumped and acted aggressive any time someone came to the door or approached the car. It was frightening, frustrating and at time scary.The change in behavior after one visit was amazing. I'm looking forward to following the recipe to a calm well behaved dog. If today is any indication of what that is like I'm going to have the dog I've always wanted.

Patrick from Bark Busters have given our girls back to us. We have a 7 year old and a 3 year old that never exhibited aggression towards each other but within the last 3 months it started with nipping but then ended in a all out attack. After many vet visits and medical issues were ruled out our vet recommended Bark Busters and Patrick. Within the first four hours we saw immediate improvement in the door greetings and backyard barking behavior. We have had no aggression exhibited but am watchful and we have a plan in place if it does. We now know our dogs behavior is largely 80% us in inconsistency of communication and maybe 20% in their makeup. Oliver, my 1 1/2 yr old Scottish Terrier, and I had our first lesson today with Bark Busters. Patrick Hogue is out teacher. I really approve of his training method. Oliver reacted well to his lessons and I learned how to have an in control happy dog. Reccomend this company and their approach to dog training completely. After getting a 7 month old Frenchie I quickly learned that this breed has given me a challenge I didn’t expect. My dog is now over a year old and my training techniques are not working at all. I found bark busters on line and the reviews were exactly what I was looking for. After the first visit with Patrick I learned to take control of some behaviors that really needed attention. Patrick was great going through the procedures for keeping the dogs where they need to be: relaxed.
Even towards the end of just the very first session, our dog was behaving better. Patrick wasnt lying when he ended the first session with "enjoy your new dog". We are in our first week of Bark Busters and already our relationship with Judith has improved so much. After having dogs all of my life and being able to train them without issue, my family recently adopted a dog that defied logic. How can that much destruction, mayhem, and loud never ending barking come from one small thing that looks like a teddy bear? And how do none of my previous training methodologies work? And how can I have tried 2 different trainers before Patrick and Bark Busters and still have nothing work. My life and my house had been taken over by a 14.5 lb teddy bear who was the warden and we were the prisoners and no visitations were allowed. Patrick corrected a major miscommunication error and I feel confident my home will be my home and my dinner will be my dinner and we will also have a happy not yappy, healthy dog for years to come.

With this being my 5th doberman and finding training exhausting, slow progress and darn, not fun! I wanted a trainer different from the person I had used before. With a Google search, I contacted Barkbusters and was connected with Patrick. I specifically did not want clicker training (awful). WOW! No treats and we got weeks of results in one session!!!!!! 😳. Our first season was today and Patrick actually made it fun. His personality is award winning, too. What we learned was all new to us and a total game changer! We are super excited!!!! Knowledge is power! Our 4 month old doberman is a good boy, smart, sweet.... and now a 180 under control after one session. A miracle to us!

Patrick from Bark Busters have given our girls back to us. We have a 7 year old and a 3 year old that never exhibited aggression towards each other but within the last 3 months it started with nipping but then ended in a all out attack. After many vet visits and medical issues were ruled out our vet recommended Bark Busters and Patrick. Within the first four hours we saw immediate improvement in the door greetings and backyard barking behavior. We have had no aggression exhibited but am watchful and we have a plan in place if it does. We now know our dogs behavior is largely 80% us in inconsistency of communication and maybe 20% in their makeup. Oliver reacted well to his lessons and I learned how to have an in control happy dog. Reccomend this company and their approach to dog training completely. After getting a 7 month old Frenchie I quickly learned that this breed has given me a challenge I didn’t expect. My dog is now over a year old and my training techniques are not working at all. I found bark busters on line and the reviews were exactly what I was looking for. After the first visit with Patrick I learned to take control of some behaviors that really needed attention. Patrick was great going through the procedures for keeping the dogs where they need to be: relaxed.
Even towards the end of just the very first session, our dog was behaving better. Patrick wasnt lying when he ended the first session with "enjoy your new dog". We are in our first week of Bark Busters and already our relationship with Judith has improved so much. After having dogs all of my life and being able to train them without issue, my family recently adopted a dog that defied logic. How can that much destruction, mayhem, and loud never ending barking come from one small thing that looks like a teddy bear? And how do none of my previous training methodologies work? And how can I have tried 2 different trainers before Patrick and Bark Busters and still have nothing work. My life and my house had been taken over by a 14.5 lb teddy bear who was the warden and we were the prisoners and no visitations were allowed. Patrick corrected a major miscommunication error and I feel confident my home will be my home and my dinner will be my dinner and we will also have a happy not yappy, healthy dog for years to come.

With a Google search, I contacted Barkbusters and was connected with Patrick. I specifically did not want clicker training (awful). WOW! No treats and we got weeks of results in one session!!!!!! 😳. Our first season was today and Patrick actually made it fun. His personality is award winning, too. What we learned was all new to us and a total game changer! We are super excited!!!! Knowledge is power! Our 4 month old doberman is a good boy, smart, sweet.... and now a 180 under control after one session. A miracle to us!
Patrick was very helpful with correcting and educating us on what we needed to do to help with our dogs behavior and walking. In a short time we were able to see results that worked really well and we will continue to use the training to improve their behavior and walking.
What amazed me most was how quickly the dogs obeyed and responded to the training. It is fairly simple and if you follow the program the results are very impressive. Patrick does a fantastic job of training you to train your dog.
My husband and I enjoyed meeting Patrick and we found both the dog psychology and hands-on training really understandable and easy to follow. Implementing the instructions is working well and our dogs are really getting it! We're very excited!!!
2 weeks ago I was taking my Golden Retriever Duke out for his evening walk and before I got the door shut he was OFF and BARKING like a CRAZY dog. I couldn't see what the problem was because of the big palm in front of the door, but knew it must be bad. I hung on to the brick pillar and he tore me off of that and I grabbed a bush to hang on to to try to stop him from getting away from me. I finally saw the neighbor's new MASSIVE Cane Corso dog from 2 doors down, a dog my Duke has had problems with in the past. I finally got Duke under control, but I was shaking and crying and my arm was all ripped up. This was the second interaction of its kind with this dog, so I knew it was time to bring in help and call a trainer.Patrick came over to the house to work with us one-on-one in an environment we and our dog are comfortable in. He went over some really common sense things and taught us how to speak dog. Then came time to walk Duke outside. My neighbor brought his big dog out and I started shaking and crying just seeing them, traumatized from past experiences. The trainer walked Duke past the big dog, showing me how to read his body language and correct issues before they blew up to an uncontrollable level. Then he wanted me to do it. I was so darn scared, I had tears in my eyes, but I knew it was something I had to learn. When we started walking past the neighbor's dog, his dog started to pop off which broke Duke's concentration, but thankfully I was able to use the tools and techniques Patrick showed us and diffuse the situation and get Duke back in line and listening to me quickly. I would have no idea how to make this kind of change this quickly without Patrick's help. Thank you Patrick for your awesome help and guidance!
So far so good!!! Patrick came into our home to help mainly with our 8 month old pug and her potty training/crate training. We got her from a “family owned” pet store from which she developed terrible habits. We hired Patrick as a last ditch effort after most of our home as been soiled. We have a 2 1/2 year old Boston Terrier who was a puppy sent from above. Patrick offers an amazing program that allows both of our dogs to be trained for pretty much the same price. This is the way to go. After our first lesson we corrected the areas that could be the issue and have been given a bunch of homework. I truly believe training is the effort you and your family put into it as well. We are going to give this our all! Patrick was prompt, professional and offered so much knowledge. Wow, we are so impressed with how well Bark Busters and Patrick Logue's methods work! We have a 1 year old Toy Maltese Bella who is our love. Bella was barking at everything outside, even if there was a car horn or doorbell noise on the TV or a neighbor that she knows. She was jumping up on us and others and nipping at our feet. She was licking us excessively, and we were allowing this because we did not know how to speak "dog". Patrick showed us quickly and simply how to use our body language and dog speak to prevent all of these behaviors. Within 1 hour, these behaviors were immediately reduced and it has been less than 24 hours and our Bella is just a joy to be around now. Not only that, but Patrick is friendly and funny during the training. It was totally worth it and I would do it again. Thank you Patrick!

I had the best experience today meeting Patrick from BarkBusters. In one two hour session, my dog is following all my commands. She no longer runs to the front door wildly barking when the door bell rings. She waits to be invited into the kitchen. She walks at my side and not dragging me. Best day ever!!! Thank you Patrick.
I was nervous but excited all at the same time. My puppy was always barking and jumping on people. She wouldn't listen sometimes. So I reached out for some help. When Patrick arrived she was barking from the other room. I tried to call out once to see if she would stop. That didn't happen. After Willow came out the meet Patrick after I completed a few mini training inside. We went outside to do a few things. By the time he left on the first day I could see a change. She is a smart girl. Now that I know how to communicate with her, time to put in the work ! Thanks
Patrick is truly incredible. Our dogs’ behavior improved after just one session. From being pulled down on the ground by both dogs on a walk, to having them walk right beside me not pulling at all after just one day with Patrick was mind blowing. He is knowledgable, fun to work with, and so good with our pups. After only a couple weeks, both dogs have made incredible improvements and they finally see me as the leader, rather than walking all over me like they used to! I can't recommend Patrick highly enough. Within just one session, our 1-year-old Goldendoodle, Misha, has made incredible strides. I recently used Bark Buster’s trainer Patrick Logue here in Fort Myers. We have a Labrador named Max who is a sweet dog but has to say hello to everyone he meets and basically make himself a nuisance. I say that with all the love in the world! But, that behavior needed correction and Patrick provided the Bark buster training techniques in home and it works like a charm! It was honestly crazy to see the immediate change in Max’s behavior . I highly recommend Bark Busters. They do not use shock collars or punish dogs. They teach owners how to lead and communicate with your dog on their level. Good stuff!
We are so grateful for Patrick! It's been less than 24 hours & we have a new lease on life. The 2 most stressful parts of our day were the morning & evening walks. I never knew how it was going to happen but, I knew we were going to continue to get hurt if we didn't address this behavior. Awesome first training session with Patrick at Bark Busters for my new, adult rescue pup who is a mixed breed, possibly shepherd, pit, and black mouth cur X. She has extreme separation anxiety. To the point of escaping basic enclosures, trying to break windows, tearing things up, and barking/ drooling constantly. She had to follow me around everywhere around the house when I was home, too. Today, we covered the basics and establishing who’s boss, and that she is to get attention on my terms. I was leery at first thinking she would be afraid of me, but she actually is MORE excited when I call her now and the time together feels more rewarding for both of us. And she already respects my space indoors within 3 hours. I can walk outside a bit, but I haven’t gotten to the major steps yet of leaving her alone at home / addressing behavior at work or on car trips. I really believe I will resolve these issues after meeting my bark busters trainer. She also appeared to be afraid of the crate at first but turns out it’s just anticipation of being alone and scared in it. Today, she actually went into her crate on her own to eat. She seems much more in tune with me and looks to me for direction now- which is the ultimate goal for everything. I’ve been given much valuable homework and will be getting as many visits as I need. But seems I may not need as many as originally thought, and she will be a well trained dog in no time! No need for treats, physical touch, a bunch of different words, or coercion. Just simple dog language. Bark busters truly teaches this concept in an easy to understand manner and results are worth it! I’m so excited to start this new way of life with my new dog. This will be my first professionally trained dog, and I couldn’t feel more confident and proud to own a dog!
A fabulous first session with Patrick of Bark Busters. I have new dogs in training…as if by magic my doggos listened and responded. It really isn’t magic, it is hard work, consistency and layers. Patrick had me jump in to the deep part of the training pool immediately and begin our training. Wow! I LOVE the process!!!! Flynn, my Wheaten Terrier, barked, jumped and acted aggressive any time someone came to the door or approached the car. It was frightening, frustrating and at time scary.The change in behavior after one visit was amazing. I'm looking forward to following the recipe to a calm well behaved dog. If today is any indication of what that is like I'm going to have the dog I've always wanted.
We are seeing progress instantly with our puppy. Patrick is so knowledgeable and had us laughing and learning the moment he walked into our home. We are so happy with our first lesson and the techniques and skills to teach our new puppy.
