Working on obedience commands, like “sit” and “stay” do not excuse you from executing the Green Zone Leadership exercises. In fact, it means you need to double down on these exercises. When dogs are calm and deep in the green zone can they learn and perform obedience commands. I assure you the last 30 seconds of this video are just as important as the first 30 seconds.
Lastly, remember if yelling “sit” at your dog when they are adrenalized worked, we would never have worked together in the first place. Always SPEAK DOG!
