So far so good, it has only been one day yet it seems we are making slow progress. We believe the method is good, could have used more practice with Patrick on day one especially since we have 2 dogs. It is easy to doubt one self as we implement the training. Patrick is really nice and helpful and we hope that with our golden package we will get a lot done as far as behavior and then obedience. It just gets somewhat disorienting at the beginning.

What a great two hour lesson. I found lots of ways to change so many unwanted behaviors. I didn’t realize so much of the clingy, crowding behaviors could be dealt with in the same way. We scheduled with Patrick since we have been unable to answer the door when the door bell rings as our two boxers immediately charge the door barking their heads off, I was mind blown by the end of our session Patrick was able to ring our doorbell and I was able to keep the dogs away from the door!! We had an amazing initial session of dog training with Patrick this morning! He took his time to answer all of our questions and helped us to feel comfortable with the process. We learned a ton of helpful tips and tricks. I have never been able to walk our dogs without the relentless tug of war. Within 20 minutes of practice, my 10 year old lab dalmatian made it down a whole block without tugging on the leash. I cried happy tears. We have been stressing over training our dogs and using so many different methods for so long that have not worked. Bark busters works, immediately and with great success. Patrick arrived on time and prepared to work. We spent time together discussing his approach to dog training as well as how we impact and continue the training moving forward. By the time he left our puppy was already responding to us in the desired manner. Prior to our time with Patrick our puppy was an escape artist, entering and exiting every door as soon as it opened. In 75 minutes, Patrick had helped my wife and I understand how to properly speak my dog’s behavioral language. We were skeptical as we have a 6 year old dog, but in the short time Patrick was here we have developed new ways of handling behaviors and are enjoying walks and hearing the doorbell for the first time ever. We couldn’t take him around people or other animals until now. We have a Border Collie puppy and she's a little monster. Patrick's presentation, set up and attention to detail was A+. Once he educated and set standards with us Patrick went to work with Pumpkin. It took Patrick about two minutes to have Pumpkin obeying his commands. Well before the lesson was over Pumpkin was a completely different puppy. I reached out to Bark Busters in need of help for my pup. My main concern was her separation anxiety, I couldn’t even go to the bathroom without her standing at the door and barking/whining. I had done so much research on YouTube and google to find ways to help with this, all without any success. I had one session with Patrick in my home, and she improved so much in that one session. Not only did he give me tips on helping with her separation anxiety, he helped me train her to walk on the leash better and to stay calm when another dog/person is near. It’s been a few weeks since my session and my pup has made so much progress. She is now comfortable on her own for up to 45 minutes to an hour and walks so well on her leash. She is calm and happy, and also becoming more comfortable being by herself. We still have some room for improvement, but we work on it everyday. Even my neighbors have noticed her behavior improving. They teach you ways to communicate with your dog in ways that your dog will actually understand. When they showed me these tips, I was like WOW it all makes so much more sense! No wonder what I was doing was not working! They also check in with you from time to time to see how everything is going, and extra help is always available if needed. I contemplated canceling my appointment up to the day. I went through with it and I am definitely glad I did. Patrick explained everything and backed it up with facts. My first dog I introduced is a pit mix that has a lot of energy and strength. My second dog an aggressive 20 pd terrier who likes to go after anyone entering my home. We have a Border Collie puppy and she's a little monster. Patrick's presentation, set up and attention to detail was A+. Once he educated and set standards with us Patrick went to work with Pumpkin. It took Patrick about two minutes to have Pumpkin obeying his commands. Well before the lesson was over Pumpkin was a completely different puppy. I reached out to Bark Busters in need of help for my pup. My main concern was her separation anxiety, I couldn’t even go to the bathroom without her standing at the door and barking/whining. I had done so much research on YouTube and google to find ways to help with this, all without any success. I had one session with Patrick in my home, and she improved so much in that one session. Not only did he give me tips on helping with her separation anxiety, he helped me train her to walk on the leash better and to stay calm when another dog/person is near. It’s been a few weeks since my session and my pup has made so much progress. She is now comfortable on her own for up to 45 minutes to an hour and walks so well on her leash. She is calm and happy, and also becoming more comfortable being by herself. We still have some room for improvement, but we work on it everyday. Even my neighbors have noticed her behavior improving. They teach you ways to communicate with your dog in ways that your dog will actually understand. When they showed me these tips, I was like WOW it all makes so much more sense! I contemplated canceling my appointment up to the day. I went through with it and I am definitely glad I did. Patrick explained everything and backed it up with facts. My first dog I introduced is a pit mix that has a lot of energy and strength. My second dog an aggressive 20 pd terrier who likes to go after anyone entering my home. I did a lot of research before choosing which dog training to go with. I am so pleased with Bark Busters. I’ve been working with Patrick since I I adopted my crazy dog. Before Training with Patrick my dog would pull in the leash, jump, go in rooms she wasn’t allowed. Now, she’s a good girl on the leash and jumping is to a minimal. So far so good, it has only been one day yet it seems we are making slow progress. We believe the method is good, could have used more practice with Patrick on day one especially since we have 2 dogs. It is easy to doubt one self as we implement the training. Patrick is really nice and helpful and we hope that with our golden package we will get a lot done as far as behavior and then obedience. It just gets somewhat disorienting at the beginning.

We hired Bark Busters to help us with our rescue German Shepard who was becoming increasingly aggressive and barking excessively at other dogs on walks thru our neighborhood. What a great two hour lesson. I found lots of ways to change so many unwanted behaviors. I didn’t realize so much of the clingy, crowding behaviors could be dealt with in the same way. It is great not having to raise a voice or yell to get my point across to the dog. Too often I have giving in to him. Now it is time to set boundaries. Reminds me of raising my children!
We scheduled with Patrick since we have been unable to answer the door when the door bell rings as our two boxers immediately charge the door barking their heads off, I was mind blown by the end of our session Patrick was able to ring our doorbell and I was able to keep the dogs away from the door!! It was amazing to see!!! We have a lot of work to do learning to speak dog but I am feeling very confident with Patrick being able to get us to where we want to be as a family!
Cannot express the relief that we gained from having Patrick train us to understand our new dog Gunner. He had spent over 500 days in a shelter and had a lot of anxiety that we did not understand how to help him through. I barely have words to describe how amazing Patrick was. The strategies were both intuitive and effective in ways I wasn’t expecting. In just days the overwhelming majority of my fear was gone. My dog(Gunner) is a rescue and a really strong pitbull mix. As a disabled person, walking a dog that leash tugs is very worrying. Patrick had it fixed in minutes and gave me the strategies to work on it going forward. I’ve taken Gunner on walks over a mile long, and run into multiple triggers without any incident since our visit. And it’s only been a week. The security in seeing the changes within my dog an his actions has been so uplifting in knowing that this will work for the long term. We had an amazing initial session of dog training with Patrick this morning! He took his time to answer all of our questions and helped us to feel comfortable with the process. We learned a ton of helpful tips and tricks. I have never been able to walk our dogs without the relentless tug of war. Within 20 minutes of practice, my 10 year old lab dalmatian made it down a whole block without tugging on the leash. I cried happy tears. We have been stressing over training our dogs and using so many different methods for so long that have not worked. Bark busters works, immediately and with great success. We met Patrick today and started work with my German shepherd Jade. I was not expecting too much as this is the 4th trainer we have tried with Jade. Happily, I was nicely surprised by some of the things Patrick showed us today that actually seem to work for us! I can see that this method might be exactly what we need to connect with our dog. We have a blue nose, pitbull, named blue bear the first six months of his life. We were training him ourselves off of videos on YouTube at six months old I started looking for a trainer. It took me four months before I finally just told myself I had to pull the trigger and called bark busters and boy am I glad I got it right the first time just with a couple of hours of training us, and reinforcing it with blue bear we had an entirely different dog calm, happy responsive to us. Patrick is amazing! He is the nicest considerate and caring person we have ever met. Our Shiba Inu puppy Luna is 8 months old and was a rescue. She had never been walked on a leash and was fearful of everything. She is now walking on a leash and is not afraid of people and other dogs. Patrick is an awesome trainer for you. He will teach you to speak "Dog" and become the "Leader" which in turns makes for a much happier and relaxed household. We did not "click" with the first dog training company we tried. So I tried doing youtube university which failed for me as well. No failure yesterday.
