As new pet owners, my husband and I were a bit naive as to how challenging a new puppy can be! In an attempt to make sure our mini Goldendoodle, Franklin, was happy and content in his new home, we were inadvertently encouraging some bad behaviors! At about our wits end, I called Patrick after hearing great things about Bark Busters. He came to our home and completely blew our minds with his simple, common sense approach to pet parenting. He is truly a dog whisperer! In a few short hours Patrick taught us how to appropriately walk Franklin without having him pull us everywhere. He taught us how to "claim our spaces" so that he didn't think he was the boss! He gave us practical instruction on how to eliminate jumping up and being overly excited to enter and leave places. After his initial lesson, we were left with the feeling of HOPE! There has been a big decrease in many of his troublesome behaviors. When I had a follow up question, Patrick responded within the hour and came to our rescue once again. I know that with persistence, consistency and being dedicated to raising the best pup we can, thanks to Patrick's guidance, we will!

Our first lesson with Patrick was great! He showed us how to communicate with our dog and during the lesson there was an amazing change in her behavior. We just started working with Patrick and are so pleased with the results so far. We love that Patrick comes to our home where he can see first hand the environment and situation that your dog is in on a daily basis. Patrick was truly amazing! We just recently rescued our dog, Champ, from the Humane Society and wanted to give him the best chance at success in his new home. Having not been in a stable home before, Champ's main issues were learning boundaries and walking on a leash. Patrick came to our home and, within minutes, we saw the training taking effect! Walking with Champ has been a night and day difference and we've set and maintained spatial boundaries in our home. Barkbusters for the win! I had the pleasure of working with Patrick and my pittie just last week and I couldn't be happier with the progress were making! In the same day of our visit, my dog had gone from talking me on a walk, pulling every which way, to her recognizing me as her lead! Big game changer. I never post reviews for privacy reasons; however, at this time, I believe spreading the word is necessary so others seeking help can take comfort in knowing assistance is, in fact, available to them. Patrick promptly responded to me via phone calls and emails after I expressed a less-than-desirable situation between my male pups became unbearable to the point of assessing rehoming. Patrick scheduled a session with my dogs and me within days of my reaching out to him. Upon arrival, Patrick was amiable, professional, and prepared! He is knowledgeable, thorough, and effective when explaining training techniques and coached me every step of the way. I had no hopes to ever get my dogs trained. They have been kicked out of dog daycare and walking them was a completely nightmare. I had to schedule my walks for like 5am when no one was out, and during the day always checking to make sure there were no one around before i came out of the house. Having Patrick as Thumper's trainer was a game changer. Thumper was starting to have issues with separation anxiety and always seemed on edge. We are so excited to have received training from Patrick at BarkBusters. Our overall goal was to better communicate with our dogs, and to make them more comfortable with each other. (We added a new puppy, Arlo, to our pack, and he thought he was the alpha. He also had terrible separation anxiety from my husband which made it difficult putting him in his crate without whining, yipping, or barking, or walking him since he was pulling me so much).Not only did Patrick help us better communicate with our pups, but he helped us lay a solid foundation for communicating our expectations with them. It has been a night and day difference! By “speaking dog”, we’ve established WE are the leaders of our pack. Our youngest pup seems to have less separation anxiety from my husband, which makes walking much easier and crate training a dream. He also seems to respond more reliably to our commands.Even with our older pup, Riley - family members have commended her on not jumping and being much calmer. She has responded so well to this training.Riley and Arlo both seem to be more comfortable with each other as well, making sure to take lead from us.All of our problems are not fixed, but it is comforting to know what consistency of this training has brought us in so little time. I hadn’t been able to get our puppy Boomie on a leash. It was like trying to rope a wild horse. I was afraid of being dragged and falling because he was so crazy. With Patricks techniques he was on a leash and walking down the block. I even took him for a walk by myself last night. That may not seem like a big deal but it’s HUGE. Both dogs are responding to me this morning with the techniques I learned. Incredibly happy with Patricks work.

What a fun day we had getting trained by Pat! Our incredibly shy and quirky border collie was even interested in learning from "Uncle Patrick!" It was unbelievable. We had a fantastic first session with Patrick! Our puppy had no boundaries and was getting bigger faster than we could figure out how to train her! Who knew we just needed to speak dog?! Patrick did! We absolutely loved our training session with Patrick! We’d tried so many different training sessions/methods to try to get our dog to walk on a loose leash / control his energy and nobody compared to Patrick. We adopted a 9 month old Australian Cattle Dog from friends who were moving out of the country. We took the dog because the dog was destined for the dog pound. We have had the dog about a month and it has been a nightmare. All the dog did was jump on us, on the doors, misbehave; every night was bedlam. We hired Bark Busters and Patrick Logue, who came to our house yesterday. He spent about 2.5 hours with us and the dog. By the time he left, the dog was no longer jumping and was listening to us. We were absolutely amazed and highly recommend Bark Busters and Patrick ( who handles our geographic area). We still have to practice the techniques Patrick taught us every day, but it’s so much easier to work with a dog who pays attention to you. Thank you Patrick. Peace and quiet reigned in our house last night for the first time in a month.

My boy Beau is a 4yr old 80+lb Pit Bull mix. As of late, Beau became aggressive towards people in passing especially those with their dogs. Beau became very hard to walk on leash and we had to extremely limit the time and place of his walks. My neighbors and their pups WERE terrified. I love Beau, I must say this did start to have an affect on our relationship. We needed help.Many of my friends recommended Bark Busters. I had to make the call. Patrick came to my house, and in less than an hour these issues were taken care of. It was magical. Beau and I learned so much together. Even typing this makes me emotional. I feel as if I have my dog back. He’s so much more playful and seems very happy, as do I. Patrick taught me how to be a better dog dad. Beau and I have never been better. There’s not enough good things I could say about Patrick and the miracle he has performed on our dog. I called Patrick on Monday (6/14 at 2:30pm) to schedule some follow-up training after our dog had an aggressive incident with a neighborhood dog. By Tuesday (6/15 at 4:30pm), Patrick came to our home was able to fix the behavioral issues our dog was having and help us reinforce proper training techniques. 6/5 stars and would HIGHLY recommend!

Patrick is awesome! He puts everything into a perspective that you can understand. The training was not at all what I was expecting, but I have zero complaints. I have a very sweet, but reactive pitty. Her leash training was 75% better after the first 2 hours. I called to let him know what she needed more help on, and he was right back to help. I have a 6 month old labradoodle named Bo. Patrick came to my home yesterday. I thought the training might be like all the other training I’ve had in past, but it was completely different. It was amazing. The training techniques were explained and demonstrated concisely and understandable. We worked on things in which l had concern, but in a different way than I had imagined. Particularly, walking Bo on the leash... in matter of minutes he was walking without pulling me down the street. It was great! I practiced the next day it was an enjoyable walk ... with some corrections, but overall very good. I think Bo is a good dog, but implementing the Bark Busters dog training techniques will make him a great dog!

My wife and I are literally amazed. Yesterday a truckload of roofers arrived unannounced to put new tiles down. Noisy! Candie (our dog) barked like she’s always done. I corrected her using the technique we learned, and that was IT! Later I invited someone in, something that had become stressful due to Candie’s aggression. Again, a few corrections and she settled down, went to her donut (her decision) and fell asleep. We are practicing and studying the instruction book, and excited about a new start with our “new” dog.If you’re dog’s behavior is not what you wish it would be, I strongly, unequivocally recommend Bark Busters.

We had been with another trainer for nearly a year with almost zero progress. Patrick came out and we saw a huge difference from the get go and we learned how to communicate in a way that our dog (a Belgian Malinois) would understand. All the trainers coming over with their pitches had left me jaded so I was still skeptical when Patrick with Bark Busters came over. He sat us down for a quick run through of their methods which already felt like a breathe of fresh air. Having the methods explained thoroughly to me was already better than the "Do this because I am the expert you don't need to know why you are doing it if it works" method. It seemed to good to be true no treats, no shock collars, no expense boarding, no off-site training, and no pinch collars. We saw instant results, both of us and our two large dogs were shocked. Walks used to be a chaotic stressful affair but after the first session with Patrick I walked both of them the next morning and it was the calmest walk I have ever experienced with them. I'm looking forward to future sessions and highly recommend them if you couldn't tell.

I can’t thank Patrick enough for the time he took today with me and my Boston “terror”, Levi. I never thought I’d see the day where he would sit by comfortably and calmly when a new person was in the house. I didn’t think I’d see him walking at my side instead of pulling when we take walks either. This was achieved within 2 hours! I was able to “claim my space” in the kitchen and I just made Levi his dinner while he waited outside the room instead of underfoot. So amazed. I know I need to keep up on this and continue to practice these skills but I’m so grateful!

Patrick did an amazing job explaining how to change my dog’s unwanted behaviors by speaking his language. It only took 75 minutes and we can now practice on our own. We haven’t been able to get around people or other dogs...ever. We now look forward to walks with our dog. Can’t recommend Bark Busters enough.

We reached out to Bark Busters when our four year old mini dachshund was not adapting well to living with our cat, along with a few other issues like excessive barking on walks and at guests. Patrick was incredibly professional, through, and is always very responsive. Some cases can't have miraculous overnight transformations, but ever since we started training with Bark Busters, we've seen steady progress. And now I can say that our two pets (cat and dog) can often be in the same room without any issues - and I wasn't sure that was possible when we started! We still have a ways to go, but now I know we can get there.Even if you feel like you have a difficult case, the Bark Busters system of steady reinforcement over time really makes a difference.*Update with photo*Another half a year (or so) later and they’re doing great! This still isn’t a common occurrence but I found them sharing the sunny spot on a chair the other day.

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR THE BEST DOG TRAINER EVER LOOK NO FURTHER- We just finished our second lesson with Patrick from BarkBusters and the transformation has been nothing less than amazing! We have a 1 year old golden retriever named Mamba and have tried a different training service with no success. They wanted to have us board and train him when his issues were with us. He would jump, pull on the leash, become territorial, has bitten me before and just seemed anxious all the time. After Patrick came to our home one time, it was a night and day difference. He educated us on how to communicate effectively with Mamba using his language and has been helpful even when he isn’t around. He responds quickly to all calls and emails and has really stayed in contact with us to check on our progress. After only a couple lessons, we now have a calm, happy dog who is really enjoying his life, and the comfort of knowing we can call Patrick whenever we need help really makes a difference. We first worked with Patrick 2 years ago when we got 2 puppies. He helped us lay a solid foundation. Fast forward 2 years, after a move and the addition of a third dog, we were living with an unruly mob. Since we had the “lifetime support” plan I contacted Patrick and he came out to help get us back on track. The refresher was super helpful and almost overnight, the unruly mob of 3- 100 pound dogs transformed into well behaved members of the family. It DOES take continued work and training but I’m super happy to have Patrick to turn to when we have a specific issue or need a general refresher.

After our initial session in September things were going great with our dog Birch, in December Birch decided he would bark relentlessly when going for car rides, we called and scheduled a follow up visit for this issue. We just had our follow up visit completed this week and I am happy to say Birch is once again riding in the car quietly. The training/coaching methods utilized truly WORK as long as we remain consistent using them. Bark Busters has been a godsend and has given us a great relationship with our furry best friend. We have a Border Collie puppy and she's a little monster. Patrick's presentation, set up and attention to detail was A+. Once he educated and set standards with us Patrick went to work with Pumpkin. It took Patrick about two minutes to have Pumpkin obeying his commands. Well before the lesson was over Pumpkin was a completely different puppy. She was calm, listened well and was rewarded for being in the green zone. Patrick is a prime example of why you hire a professional to help you with something you're not an expert in. After rescuing our dog during quarantine, going back to work quickly became a nightmare. Our dog Bruce slowly escalated from going thru trash and ripping apart pillows to destroying the bedroom door and ripping up carpet.We followed all the general guidelines of helping a dog with separation anxiety that you can find on google and had him on strong medications from our vet. He still only got worse.After just one session with Patrick, I spent the next several weeks practicing the exercises he taught me to help Bruce with his separation anxiety every single day. After 3 weeks of this, we were successfully able to leave Bruce alone the entire time we were at work (8 hours)! He was calm the entire time and nothing was destroyed!Going from not being able to even go grocery shopping or to the gas station without constantly checking the cameras to see what Bruce was getting in to, to now being able to leave for work without having to worry about the amount of money all the damage will cost, is truly priceless.I will definitely be calling Patrick if any other behaviors arise in Bruce, with confidence in knowing I am making the right choice for my dog and myself. I reached out to Bark Busters in need of help for my pup. My main concern was her separation anxiety, I couldn’t even go to the bathroom without her standing at the door and barking/whining. I had done so much research on YouTube and google to find ways to help with this, all without any success. I had one session with Patrick in my home, and she improved so much in that one session. Not only did he give me tips on helping with her separation anxiety, he helped me train her to walk on the leash better and to stay calm when another dog/person is near. It’s been a few weeks since my session and my pup has made so much progress. She is now comfortable on her own for up to 45 minutes to an hour and walks so well on her leash. She is calm and happy, and also becoming more comfortable being by herself. We still have some room for improvement, but we work on it everyday. Even my neighbors have noticed her behavior improving. They teach you ways to communicate with your dog in ways that your dog will actually understand. When they showed me these tips, I was like WOW it all makes so much more sense! No wonder what I was doing was not working! They also check in with you from time to time to see how everything is going, and extra help is always available if needed. I have been recommending bark busters to everyone with a dog, puppy or not! If you have any kind of issue with your dog and their behavior, or just want tips on basic training, they have everything you need and more :)

Amazing dog training. I really thought my dog bear could never be fixed but after just one session he’s already better behaved. Obviously it’s going to take time but Patrick completely prepares you by teaching you how to “speak dog” and gave us some home work to help both us and our dog understand eachother better.Overall if you’re on the fence definitely go for it. As new pet owners, my husband and I were a bit naive as to how challenging a new puppy can be! In an attempt to make sure our mini Goldendoodle, Franklin, was happy and content in his new home, we were inadvertently encouraging some bad behaviors! At about our wits end, I called Patrick after hearing great things about Bark Busters. He came to our home and completely blew our minds with his simple, common sense approach to pet parenting. He is truly a dog whisperer! In a few short hours Patrick taught us how to appropriately walk Franklin without having him pull us everywhere. He taught us how to "claim our spaces" so that he didn't think he was the boss! He gave us practical instruction on how to eliminate jumping up and being overly excited to enter and leave places. After his initial lesson, we were left with the feeling of HOPE! There has been a big decrease in many of his troublesome behaviors. When I had a follow up question, Patrick responded within the hour and came to our rescue once again. We just started working with Patrick and are so pleased with the results so far. We love that Patrick comes to our home where he can see first hand the environment and situation that your dog is in on a daily basis. Patrick was truly amazing! We just recently rescued our dog, Champ, from the Humane Society and wanted to give him the best chance at success in his new home. Having not been in a stable home before, Champ's main issues were learning boundaries and walking on a leash. Patrick came to our home and, within minutes, we saw the training taking effect! I had no hopes to ever get my dogs trained. They have been kicked out of dog daycare and walking them was a completely nightmare. I had to schedule my walks for like 5am when no one was out, and during the day always checking to make sure there were no one around before i came out of the house. We are so excited to have received training from Patrick at BarkBusters. Our overall goal was to better communicate with our dogs, and to make them more comfortable with each other. (We added a new puppy, Arlo, to our pack, and he thought he was the alpha. He also had terrible separation anxiety from my husband which made it difficult putting him in his crate without whining, yipping, or barking, or walking him since he was pulling me so much).Not only did Patrick help us better communicate with our pups, but he helped us lay a solid foundation for communicating our expectations with them. It has been a night and day difference! By “speaking dog”, we’ve established WE are the leaders of our pack. Our youngest pup seems to have less separation anxiety from my husband, which makes walking much easier and crate training a dream. He also seems to respond more reliably to our commands.Even with our older pup, Riley - family members have commended her on not jumping and being much calmer. I hadn’t been able to get our puppy Boomie on a leash. It was like trying to rope a wild horse. I was afraid of being dragged and falling because he was so crazy. With Patricks techniques he was on a leash and walking down the block. I even took him for a walk by myself last night. That may not seem like a big deal but it’s HUGE. What a fun day we had getting trained by Pat! Our incredibly shy and quirky border collie was even interested in learning from "Uncle Patrick!" It was unbelievable. Pat's method is very logical but something we had never thought of or observed before. We learned a lot of tools today that we are excited to implement into our daily routine! 10/10 would recommend! So glad we were able to get on Pat's schedule and have the opportunity to learn from him. Looking forward to continuing to work with him.

We had a fantastic first session with Patrick! Our puppy had no boundaries and was getting bigger faster than we could figure out how to train her! Who knew we just needed to speak dog?! Patrick did! I think we received more training than the pups and we were left feeling much more prepared to be the leaders of the pack and have well mannered pups. I definitely haven't mastered everything yet, but I know Patrick is just a phone call away!

We absolutely loved our training session with Patrick! We’d tried so many different training sessions/methods to try to get our dog to walk on a loose leash / control his energy and nobody compared to Patrick. Within an hour, Archie was a completely different dog. He wasn’t pulling or jumping on the leash, and he was extremely obedient.I will be recommending Patrick to anyone who asks moving forward. It was a complete game changer and you could see our dog, Archie, change within the hour! I thought it was a little expensive up front but worth every single penny! We adopted a 9 month old Australian Cattle Dog from friends who were moving out of the country. We took the dog because the dog was destined for the dog pound. We have had the dog about a month and it has been a nightmare. All the dog did was jump on us, on the doors, misbehave; every night was bedlam. We hired Bark Busters and Patrick Logue, who came to our house yesterday. He spent about 2.5 hours with us and the dog. By the time he left, the dog was no longer jumping and was listening to us. We were absolutely amazed and highly recommend Bark Busters and Patrick ( who handles our geographic area). We still have to practice the techniques Patrick taught us every day, but it’s so much easier to work with a dog who pays attention to you. Thank you Patrick. Peace and quiet reigned in our house last night for the first time in a month.

Pat came in and trained us on how to train our dogs in less than an hour. It’s like we have new well behaved dogs! We have 2 dogs, a 1 year old and 6 year old. My only regret is not calling Pat 6 years ago!

Our 18 mo Cocker Spaniel, Molly, is NOT the same dog after the 3 hour training session with Patrick. She has always been a puller, barking lunging pup…Covid and some family health issues did not allow for the socialization she needed.Patrick’s approach and methods are amazing. Patrick was amazing! We saw immediate results. We have struggled with behavioral issues with Ollie for 2 years and were extremely frustrated and didn't know what else to do. Patrick was able to help us in just a 2 hour lesson get results that are just amazing! He worked with our other dog as well so that all the rules are the same for both dogs. It is already better than we could have hoped. Everyone who visits us can't believe they are the same dogs because they are so well behaved! My boy Beau is a 4yr old 80+lb Pit Bull mix. As of late, Beau became aggressive towards people in passing especially those with their dogs. Beau became very hard to walk on leash and we had to extremely limit the time and place of his walks. My neighbors and their pups WERE terrified. I love Beau, I must say this did start to have an affect on our relationship. We needed help.Many of my friends recommended Bark Busters. I had to make the call. Patrick came to my house, and in less than an hour these issues were taken care of. It was magical. Beau and I learned so much together. Even typing this makes me emotional. I feel as if I have my dog back. He’s so much more playful and seems very happy, as do I. Patrick taught me how to be a better dog dad. Beau and I have never been better. My girlfriend is no longer afraid to walk him. My neighbors do not avoid us anymore. There’s not enough good things I could say about Patrick and the miracle he has performed on our dog. I called Patrick on Monday (6/14 at 2:30pm) to schedule some follow-up training after our dog had an aggressive incident with a neighborhood dog. By Tuesday (6/15 at 4:30pm), Patrick came to our home was able to fix the behavioral issues our dog was having and help us reinforce proper training techniques. 6/5 stars and would HIGHLY recommend!

Patrick is awesome! He puts everything into a perspective that you can understand. The training was not at all what I was expecting, but I have zero complaints. I have a very sweet, but reactive pitty. Her leash training was 75% better after the first 2 hours. I called to let him know what she needed more help on, and he was right back to help. His training teaches you how to calm your dog in any situation! It is not just a bandaid on a problem. I completely recommend.

Our first visit was awesome! Patrick took detailed time to explain the techniques to us and was very patient, with us as well as Fur kid Buster. We have already started seeing a difference in Buster’s anxiety level- and he calms down much faster when we use “dog speak”!

I have a 6 month old labradoodle named Bo. Patrick came to my home yesterday. I thought the training might be like all the other training I’ve had in past, but it was completely different. It was amazing. The training techniques were explained and demonstrated concisely and understandable. We worked on things in which l had concern, but in a different way than I had imagined. Particularly, walking Bo on the leash... in matter of minutes he was walking without pulling me down the street. It was great! I practiced the next day it was an enjoyable walk ... with some corrections, but overall very good. I think Bo is a good dog, but implementing the Bark Busters dog training techniques will make him a great dog!

My wife and I are literally amazed. Yesterday a truckload of roofers arrived unannounced to put new tiles down. Noisy! Candie (our dog) barked like she’s always done. I corrected her using the technique we learned, and that was IT! Later I invited someone in, something that had become stressful due to Candie’s aggression. Again, a few corrections and she settled down, went to her donut (her decision) and fell asleep. We are practicing and studying the instruction book, and excited about a new start with our “new” dog.If you’re dog’s behavior is not what you wish it would be, I strongly, unequivocally recommend Bark Busters.

Patrick with Bark Busters has been amazing! We have a reactive and anxious American Bulldog and the training with Bark Busters has made a huge difference in his behavior. We had been with another trainer for nearly a year with almost zero progress. Patrick came out and we saw a huge difference from the get go and we learned how to communicate in a way that our dog (a Belgian Malinois) would understand. Our vet had made it sound like she was going to need to be medicated with sedatives her whole life. After one session with Patrick she is being responsive, listening, and walking on the leash like an angel. I am so impressed with Patrick. Very professional and knows what he's doing. We have had multiple home visits from dog trainers trying to get a feel for their style and have never committed to one for countless different reasons. All the trainers coming over with their pitches had left me jaded so I was still skeptical when Patrick with Bark Busters came over. He sat us down for a quick run through of their methods which already felt like a breathe of fresh air. Having the methods explained thoroughly to me was already better than the "Do this because I am the expert you don't need to know why you are doing it if it works" method. It seemed to good to be true no treats, no shock collars, no expense boarding, no off-site training, and no pinch collars. We saw instant results, both of us and our two large dogs were shocked. Walks used to be a chaotic stressful affair but after the first session with Patrick I walked both of them the next morning and it was the calmest walk I have ever experienced with them. I'm looking forward to future sessions and highly recommend them if you couldn't tell.

I can’t thank Patrick enough for the time he took today with me and my Boston “terror”, Levi. I never thought I’d see the day where he would sit by comfortably and calmly when a new person was in the house. I didn’t think I’d see him walking at my side instead of pulling when we take walks either. This was achieved within 2 hours! I was able to “claim my space” in the kitchen and I just made Levi his dinner while he waited outside the room instead of underfoot. So amazed. I know I need to keep up on this and continue to practice these skills but I’m so grateful!

Patrick did an amazing job explaining how to change my dog’s unwanted behaviors by speaking his language. It only took 75 minutes and we can now practice on our own. We reached out to Bark Busters when our four year old mini dachshund was not adapting well to living with our cat, along with a few other issues like excessive barking on walks and at guests. Patrick was incredibly professional, through, and is always very responsive. Some cases can't have miraculous overnight transformations, but ever since we started training with Bark Busters, we've seen steady progress. And now I can say that our two pets (cat and dog) can often be in the same room without any issues - and I wasn't sure that was possible when we started! We still have a ways to go, but now I know we can get there.Even if you feel like you have a difficult case, the Bark Busters system of steady reinforcement over time really makes a difference.*Update with photo*Another half a year (or so) later and they’re doing great! This still isn’t a common occurrence but I found them sharing the sunny spot on a chair the other day.

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR THE BEST DOG TRAINER EVER LOOK NO FURTHER- We just finished our second lesson with Patrick from BarkBusters and the transformation has been nothing less than amazing! We have a 1 year old golden retriever named Mamba and have tried a different training service with no success. They wanted to have us board and train him when his issues were with us. He would jump, pull on the leash, become territorial, has bitten me before and just seemed anxious all the time. After Patrick came to our home one time, it was a night and day difference. He educated us on how to communicate effectively with Mamba using his language and has been helpful even when he isn’t around. He responds quickly to all calls and emails and has really stayed in contact with us to check on our progress. After only a couple lessons, we now have a calm, happy dog who is really enjoying his life, and the comfort of knowing we can call Patrick whenever we need help really makes a difference. Patrick has truly changed our lives and is the best dog trainer ever!!!

We first worked with Patrick 2 years ago when we got 2 puppies. He helped us lay a solid foundation. Fast forward 2 years, after a move and the addition of a third dog, we were living with an unruly mob. Since we had the “lifetime support” plan I contacted Patrick and he came out to help get us back on track. The refresher was super helpful and almost overnight, the unruly mob of 3- 100 pound dogs transformed into well behaved members of the family. It DOES take continued work and training but I’m super happy to have Patrick to turn to when we have a specific issue or need a general refresher.

After our initial session in September things were going great with our dog Birch, in December Birch decided he would bark relentlessly when going for car rides, we called and scheduled a follow up visit for this issue. We just had our follow up visit completed this week and I am happy to say Birch is once again riding in the car quietly. The training/coaching methods utilized truly WORK as long as we remain consistent using them. Bark Busters has been a godsend and has given us a great relationship with our furry best friend. We have a Border Collie puppy and she's a little monster. Patrick's presentation, set up and attention to detail was A+. Once he educated and set standards with us Patrick went to work with Pumpkin. It took Patrick about two minutes to have Pumpkin obeying his commands. Well before the lesson was over Pumpkin was a completely different puppy. She was calm, listened well and was rewarded for being in the green zone. Patrick is a prime example of why you hire a professional to help you with something you're not an expert in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

First meeting with Patrick was very informative and comprehensive. Had beginnings of success right away. We were really pleased to see what could be accomplished with knowledge and a lot of determination, & patience!Patience is the hardest to accomplishment with these pups we have as they are shelter dogs, and both are 11 months, so not puppies anymore. After rescuing our dog during quarantine, going back to work quickly became a nightmare. Our dog Bruce slowly escalated from going thru trash and ripping apart pillows to destroying the bedroom door and ripping up carpet.We followed all the general guidelines of helping a dog with separation anxiety that you can find on google and had him on strong medications from our vet. He still only got worse.After just one session with Patrick, I spent the next several weeks practicing the exercises he taught me to help Bruce with his separation anxiety every single day. After 3 weeks of this, we were successfully able to leave Bruce alone the entire time we were at work (8 hours)! He was calm the entire time and nothing was destroyed!Going from not being able to even go grocery shopping or to the gas station without constantly checking the cameras to see what Bruce was getting in to, to now being able to leave for work without having to worry about the amount of money all the damage will cost, is truly priceless.I will definitely be calling Patrick if any other behaviors arise in Bruce, with confidence in knowing I am making the right choice for my dog and myself. I reached out to Bark Busters in need of help for my pup. My main concern was her separation anxiety, I couldn’t even go to the bathroom without her standing at the door and barking/whining. I had done so much research on YouTube and google to find ways to help with this, all without any success. I had one session with Patrick in my home, and she improved so much in that one session. Not only did he give me tips on helping with her separation anxiety, he helped me train her to walk on the leash better and to stay calm when another dog/person is near. It’s been a few weeks since my session and my pup has made so much progress. She is now comfortable on her own for up to 45 minutes to an hour and walks so well on her leash. She is calm and happy, and also becoming more comfortable being by herself. We still have some room for improvement, but we work on it everyday. Even my neighbors have noticed her behavior improving. They teach you ways to communicate with your dog in ways that your dog will actually understand. When they showed me these tips, I was like WOW it all makes so much more sense! No wonder what I was doing was not working! They also check in with you from time to time to see how everything is going, and extra help is always available if needed. I have been recommending bark busters to everyone with a dog, puppy or not! If you have any kind of issue with your dog and their behavior, or just want tips on basic training, they have everything you need and more :)

Amazing dog training. I really thought my dog bear could never be fixed but after just one session he’s already better behaved. Obviously it’s going to take time but Patrick completely prepares you by teaching you how to “speak dog” and gave us some home work to help both us and our dog understand eachother better.Overall if you’re on the fence definitely go for it. You will not be disappointed.
